CFAES

Social Media

All social media account or page (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.) that are created on behalf of a program area, team, county office, or county program MUST be approved by the university.

The first step in creating a social media account/page is to complete the online application prior to creating an account.

Social Media Application

Email Mitch Moser (moser.26@osu.edu) and Marissa Mullett (mullett.50@osu.edu) when you complete the application. Mitch oversees all social media for CFAES.

Once the university receives your application, you will receive an email to let you know when your page/account is approved. Accounts or pages may not be created until permission is granted. This process can take a couple of weeks, so be sure to plan accordingly.

Before using social media on behalf of the university, it is important to review the Office of Marketing and Communication's Institutional Social Media Account Protocols and Standards (ISMAPS).
