National Family Caregivers Month marks a time to celebrate caregivers, support their needs, and educate communities. The national observance is led by Caregiver Action Network, a nonprofit that provides free resources to family caregivers. This year’s theme is “Caregiving Happens.” Women, especially women of color, represent the majority of the nation’s home health care workers and more than 90 percent of childcare workers.
