May is Mental Health Awareness Month

The purpose of Mental Health Awareness Month (recognized since 1949) is to raise awareness and educate the public about mental illnesses, the realities of living with these conditions, and strategies for attaining mental health and wellness. Mental health conditions affect one in five Americans. The Ohio State University takes mental health very seriously and provides many resources to help those afflicted with mental health issues, as well as those who work to assist others with mental health conditions.
