Performance review time is here, and I hope you’re all setting aside time on your calendars to reflect on and document your accomplishments from the past year. These reviews are an important opportunity to intentionally highlight your growth and contributions as an Extension professional, and they become a meaningful part of your long‑term career story.
As I mentioned in previous system-wide messaging, we are moving into the screening interview phase of hiring district directors. I appreciate all the time the hiring committee invested in reviewing applications and getting us to this point. I also know there was—and will continue to be—a lot of behind-the-scenes work scheduling the interviews. Thanks to everyone who has helped with that aspect too. Over the next few weeks, we will move on to in-person interviews.
Congratulations to all our faculty and staff who will receive a 2026 CFAES Award at the annual college awards event on April 2. I look forward to celebrating with many of you there. Following the awards program, Dean Kress will deliver the State of the College address, which you may attend in person—either on campus or at the Wooster watch party—or join virtually.
