    The CFAES Advancement team has created updated eToolkits for Extension personnel to use when working with donors, potential donors, or other stakeholders.

  2. Ohio Fact Sheet Receives Award from American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers

    The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers has recognized an Ohio-created fact sheet with a 2022 Educational Aids Blue Ribbon Award.

  3. Article on Impacts of the War in Ukraine on Commodity Markets Written by CFAES Professor

    Ukraine has become known again in recent years as the “breadbasket of Europe.” And Ukraine’s position as a principal player in global agricultural markets has evolved over the past two decades.

    The BroadbandOhio Community Accelerator program is a collaborative effort between BroadbandOhio, Heartland Forward, the Benton Institute for Broadband & Society, and OSU Extension.

  1. Ohio 4-H Scholarship Challenge Continues Through June 30

    2022 marks the 120th birthday of Ohio 4-H. There’s still time to help 4-H reach its goal of $120,000 to create an endowment.

  2. Manure Science Review Will be Held on July 26

    Learn what’s new in manure management at the Manure Science Review on July 26 at the Ohio State Northwest Agricultural Research Station.

  3. 2022 National Soil Moisture Workshop Will be Held at Ohio State on Aug. 9-10

    The 2022 National Soil Moisture Workshop returns to an in-person format after a two-year hiatus, and will be hosted by Ohio State, in Columbus this year.

  1. Drupal Training for Website Access is Changing Format

    The CFAES web team is currently in the process of transitioning from live sessions to a pre-recorded training for Drupal content editors.

Celebrating Colleagues

  1. Celebrating Excellence via A&P and Faculty Promotion

    This time of year, we recognize our colleagues who have succeeded in their promotion application. For our 2022 class, we celebrate the professional advancement of 33 A&P and three faculty colleagues.

  2. Reflections on Family and Consumer Sciences – Article Published by Extension Educator

    Patrice Powers-Barker, educator, family and consumer sciences, in the Lucas County office of OSU Extension, will have an article published in an upcoming issue of the Journal of Family & Consumer Sciences.

  3. Ohio Chapter of the NACAA Professional Excellence Committee Poster Session Winners Announced

    The Ohio chapter of the NACAA Professional Excellence Committee has announced the winners of the state Applied Research and Extension Education Poster Session contest for the Ohio Chapter of NACAA.

  4. Ohio Chapter of NACAA Announces Finalists for NACAA Communication Awards

    Several Ohio ANR educators are among the regional and national finalists from the North Central Region for the 2022 NACAA communication awards.

  5. 2022 NACDEP Award Winners Announced

    The 2022 National Association of Community Development Professionals (NACDEP) conference was held in early June. Several of our colleagues were recognized before and at the conference.
