Note from David Civittolo

Thank you all so much for the time you invest in reporting the work you do. I know it can be a tedious task, but recording your efforts in Engage is critical in helping pull together meaningful reports that get shared in multiple places — within your communities, throughout the university, and with state and national elected officials.

Many of you are working on, or have recently completed, your Extension in Action reports. These are a great example of how we use Engage information to show the impact of your work at the local level. Thanks so much for your work on them. We’re also putting together program area impact reports, which highlight some of the bigger‑picture efforts happening throughout the state. And on top of that, our Extension Annual Report is in progress too. This summary brings everything together to tell the story of our statewide work and illustrates the difference Extension makes for the people we serve. We look forward to sharing all of these with you in the coming weeks.

The last update I have for now is that the district director position postings have closed. The committee looks forward to reviewing applications and starting the interview process soon—important next steps in implementing our new county management structure.

Kindly, David
