From the JCEP annual meeting and program area in-services to Ohio 4-H Youth Development assistant director interviews—and preparing for the upcoming winter recess—the past few weeks have been extraordinarily busy for many of you during an already hectic time of year. I sincerely thank you for your continued dedication and commitment.
It’s hard to believe this is the final News and Notes of 2025. As we prepare to turn the calendar to a new year, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the research, teaching, and outreach you’ve led or supported this past year. Which programs or efforts had the greatest impact on those you serve? Are there opportunities or gaps in resource sharing that you hope to address in 2026?
Finally, I hope you are able to mindfully step away from your professional responsibilities during winter recess. This time truly is a gift from the university, and I hope you spend it resting and reconnecting with the people and activities that bring you happiness and joy.
